Places that provide aid for pregnant teens in Colorado

Pregnant teens are often ashamed and seeking a way to be able to take care of their newborn child. Often parents are so upset about the pregnancy that the teens either can’t or won’t stay at home and work through their issues. Occasionally parents won’t allow the teen back home. So how is a teen supposed to know what to do? If you’re in Colorado, you have some great options available to you during this difficult time in your life.

Bridgeway is one of those options. Bridgeway has been making the difference in the lives of pregnant teens since 1986. Located in beautiful Lakewood, Colorado, Bridgeway offers teens a loving home situation that provides education and support to the pregnant teen.

Their mission is to assist teens in rebuilding their lives. They provide shelter, food, clothing, education, life skills, counseling, mentors, career training, support and more to the troubled teen. Additionally they can help provide information on careers, job training and even adoption information should the teen desire to place the child for adoption.

Teens are required to attend semi weekly classes that teach them parenting skills, adoption options, job training and skills, and continued education. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated at Bridgeway.

Former clients write that the positive environment of Bridgeway helped them during the most difficult time of their lives. They don’t feel judged just loved and the love is what got them through the situation.
