Arizona Summer Camps

There are a number of wonderful summer camp opportunities for children of all ages throughout the state of Arizona. If your children are interested in sports such as basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, or volleyball this is the camp for them. If your child happens to be interested in activities such as karate, Frisbee, music, stunts, dance, weird science or water fun, this camp offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about these or to improve upon the abilities they already possess. This camp, called SKORE is located in Gilbert. It’s a co-ed camp program serving children between the ages of 5 to13. The camp operates in one week sessions beginning the 1st of June and running through the 6th of August. The hours for camp are 9 am to 6:30 pm or 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Also located in Gilbert, is Destiny Community School Angel Summer Camp. The camp is for children between the ages of 5 to 13 and is a co-ed program. The camp runs in one week sessions and are available from May 27th through July 25th. Camp hours are from 7:30 am to 3 pm. The cost of the program is $76 to $200 per one week session.

The Majesty Ranch Summer Pony Camp is located in Gilbert. Session 1 starts on July 2nd and runs through July 6th from 10:00 am to 2 pm. Children who are between the age of 6 to 12 will learn about horses, work with ponies and enjoy a number of other fun activities. Session 2 begins on July 9th and runs through July 13th from 10:00 am to 2 pm. The Show Team Boot Camp begins July 16th and runs through July 20th from 10 am to 2 pm. This camp is for those children between the ages of 8 to 17. Children will work with the horses and pony’s and learn about all the things that go into showing horses. The cost for the camp is $201 to $350 per one week session.

Barton’s Academy located in Gilbert offers a summer program filled with arts and crafts, drama, theater, dance, martial arts, swimming, games and computers. They also offer visual arts, pottery and sculpting. The camp is co-ed and for children between the ages of 6 to 14. The camp runs in one week sessions which begin on June 4th and end July 20th. Cost for the camp is $76 to $200.

Sing, dance, and act at Gilberts Performing Arts Camp held on June 14th through July 23rd from 9 am to 2 pm. The camp is co-ed for children between the ages of 3 to16. Scribble 2 Script is located in Gilbert at: 1305 South Gilbert Road. This is a co-ed program offered to children between the ages of 4 to12. The camp runs in one week sessions and the cost is $350. Frank Lloyd Wrights Summer Architecture Camp located in Scottsdale at Taliesin West offers camp from June 7th through August 13th from 9 am to 3 pm and 9 am to noon. The camp is offered to boys and girls between the ages of 10 to18. Children will learn design, model building, ceramic, and photography through hands-on experience. Hotshot Basketball Camp is located in Scottsdale and held at Saguaro High School, located at 6250 North 82nd Street. They are offering co-ed programs for ages 5 through 18 years old. The camp begins on July 19th and runs through July 22nd. The camp hours are 8 am to 9:50 am for the morning clinic session and 10 am to 4 pm for the day session. The cost is $99 to $250. Mad Science Camp is being offered in Scottsdale at 4848 East Cactus Road for children between the ages of 6 to 11. It’s a co-ed camp beginning on June 1st and running through July 26th from 9 am to 3 pm. The camp operates in one week sessions. Located in Tempe is the ASU College for Kids. The camp is located on the ASU Tempe College Campus and is for children ages 4 through 14 years old. The camp begins on June 7th and runs through July 23rd from 9 am to noon. Opportunities include science, technology, English, math, game-bot, love bugs plus much more. Tween Zone Summer Camp in Chandler offers many exciting field trips and day activities at their location of 1550 East Chandler Heights Blvd. The camp is co-ed and is open to children between the ages from 10 through 14. LEAP Acquisition Program in Chandler is holding camp for special needs children located at: 1815 East Queen Creek Road, Suite #1. Children will improve their speech and language skills in classes with no more than 15 children. The program operates in June and July from 9 am to noon and 9 am to 1p.m. The camp is co-ed and is for children between the ages of 3 to 6 years old.
